The Evolving Role of Science and Technology in U.S.-China Relations
Science and technology—central to both U.S. and China’ s strategic futures—have emerged as a critical battleground, marked by mutual restrictions and competition for dominance. The two countries' rapid shift from cooperation to rivalry raises concerns over escalating geopolitical risks and the viability of restoring collaborative exchanges. Addressing whether openness can be revived or exclusion will persist is pivotal to mitigating global destabilization.
